Why use Chromotherapy

If the color orange can induce a viewer to experience heightened states of creativity, is it possible pose a site which can alter ones perspective. If this color can engage the feelings of warmth and generosity, can the viewer approach in idea, and artwork or others with more openness?

Chromotherapy

Chromotherapy or colour therapy is based on the premise that colours and light can be used to correct physical ailments. Depending on the location and nature of the ailment a specific colour may ease it.

One of the first scientists to consider the effect of colours was August Pleasonton. In 1876 he published ‘The Influence of the Blue Ray of Sunlight and of the Blue Color of the Sky’ in which he studied how blue can stimulate the growth of plants and cattle. He also mentioned that this colour can help make the human body better. This book introduced chromotherapy into modern medicine.

Orange colour

Orange light stimulates the creative thought process and helps you come up with new ideas. This colour is linked to breathing.

Orange is a bright, shiny, warm colour of fire and sun. It is associated with sunrise or sunset, delicious fruits such as apricots, mandarins, oranges. It various cultures it can symbolize courage and sacrifice. No more so aggressive and passionate as red, but as an emotional stimulant happy, nice colour, which helps to overcome fatigue. Due to the foregoing points it constitutes a useful additional aid in treatment of depressions. Orange reflects warmth and generosity. It also promotes appetite and helps in the morning to stand up. Orange colour strengthens the lungs, pancreas and spleen and stimulates the activity of the heart. Digestion, increases appetite, it can either calm or excite.This colour can stabilizes emotions, some individuals get depressed. All shades of orange have the same meaning and effect depending only on the dominant component (yellow or red).
